Membership Requirements
Lucky Aces Club is a private, members-only social club. Membership is required for anyone entering or participating in games, events, or promotions.
(All members and guests must be 18 years or older to enter the club and engage in activities.)
Code of Conduct
All members must treat fellow members, guests, and staff with respect. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Right to Refuse Entry
Lucky Aces Club reserves the right to deny membership or entry to individuals at our discretion.
House Rules
- TDA Rules will be used in accordance with Lucky Aces Club House rules to govern all tournaments.
- Floor people are to consider the best interest of the game and fairness as the top priority in the decision-making process. The floor person's decision is final. (In unusual circumstances, common-sense decisions in the interest of fairness may take priority over technical rules.)
- English only at the table while a hand is in play. (Players may converse in their native language after the hand concludes. If a player needs help translating, a Lucky Aces staff member or designated player will translate. Violators will be asked to leave if they persist after being warned.)
- Cell phones are not permitted to be in use while a hand is in play.
- Loud, abusive language and profanity will not be tolerated. (There will be no abuse of any kind towards staff or players. Violators will be required to cash out and leave for the day.)
- All games are table stakes. No short buys are permitted.
- The line on the table is a courtesy line for all players to place their bets. A forward motion of chips may be considered a bet, call, or raise as interpreted by the dealer.
- Check and raise is permitted in all games.
- Seat or game change is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Players moving more than two active seats away from the blinds or to another table of the same game must post. Players may not chip down when moving to a table of the same game and must have at least the minimum buy-in for that game to move.
- One player per hand. Collusion or angling will not be tolerated.
- Each player is responsible for their own hand at all times. If a dealer kills an unprotected hand, the player will have no redress and will not be entitled to their money back.
- Splashing the pot and string bets are not permitted and will be dealer-enforced. The oversized chip rule will be in effect.
- Players must always keep their cards and chips on the table with the highest denomination chips visible.
- There will be no foreign chips on the table except for a maximum of one card protector. Card protectors can be deemed illegal by floor supervisors.
- Cards speak. Show one card, or show another player your cards, and show all cards upon request or at the discretion of the staff.
- Verbal declaration, in turn, will be binding. Action out of turn may be binding or limit the options of that player. Declarations out of turn will not be tolerated.
- Rabbit hunting is not allowed.
Operational Logistics
Player Absences
Players missing three sets of blinds will be cashed out. (If a player needs to step away, they must notify the dealer. Their seat will then be made available to the next player on the list.)
Cashing Out
If a player cashes out with more than the maximum buy-in, they may only rejoin the game within two hours with the same amount they left with.
Dinner Breaks / Chip Pick-Up Rule
Each patron is allowed one 40-minute dinner break per day, with only one player on break per table at any given time. As a courtesy, players returning from a dinner break or chip pick-up will retain their spot at the top of the waitlist.
Tobacco and Alcohol Use
No vaping, dipping, or smoking is allowed in the poker area. Players must step outside to the designated smoking section near the front door, where ashtrays and cigarette disposal units are provided. Continued violations will result in being asked to cash out, leave for the day, and potentially face a temporary ban at the floor's discretion.
Seat Transfers
Players transferring seats must comply with posting requirements and bring at least the minimum buy-in for the game to their new seat. Players may not reduce their chip stack ("chip down") when moving to another table or seat; they must transfer their full stack.
Time/Point Charges
Players will only be charged time or points while actively seated at a table. If a player needs to temporarily step away, they must notify the dealer to pause their charges.
